Cleaning Set
Having a place for everything and everything in its place "takes the stress out of the mess." For the inevitable mishaps, a very specific routine for cleanup allows the child to be involved and quickly learn the skills. Letting the child be involved in the clean up process encourages autonomy and builds their confidence around toileting. They do as we do, not as we say. The more consistent we are with the environment and routine, the calmer we can go through the process.
